Plants are between 4-8″ tall. Each plant is a hybridized selected variety grown from tissue cultures to be a disease free exact replica of the mother plant. Pineapple Plant Gold Hybrid is a smooth leaf variety with an excellent sweet flavor. The plant size of this species has stopped it from making it into commercial applications, but for the home garden this strain is the perfect choice. Produces a whopping 6lb pineapple with an edible core!! Great all around garden species of pineapple. Leaves arise from a tight rosette. All around great variety.
