Plants are between 6″- 16″ tall “They grow fast!!”. Each plant is grown from tissue culture to be a disease free exact replica of the mother plant. Blueberry Plant Darrow is one of the most popular of the large blueberries. You will need 2-3 different kinds for cross-pollination. Vigorous, upright bush offers white-pink flowers in spring, late-mid season fruit and vibrant scarlet leaves in autumn. We recommend using only Bio Spectrum organic Fertilizer located in our store.
- ‘Darrow’ – Fall Color: Red, Season: Late, Zone 5-8, 4′ to 6′ tall. A vigorous bush that produces a lot of robust berries, white flowers that show hints of pink in Spring.
How to grow Blueberry Plant Darrow
Soil requirements and planting instructions
Mix together the following:
- 90 percent Sphagnum peat moss
- 10% perlite
Place this mixture in a pots, beds or garden and plant your blueberry. Proper site preparation ensures years of growth and once established they will not require weed control. Soil Ph should be around 4.9-5.5.
Light conditions
When making a site selection keep your plant in an area that has bright sunlight.
