How to grow Blueberry Plants

Soil requirements and planting instructions

Mix together the following:

  • 90 percent Sphagnum peat moss
  • 10% perlite

Place this mixture in a pots, beds or garden and plant your blueberry. Proper site preparation ensures years of growth and once established they will not require weed control. Soil Ph should be around 4.9-5.5.

Light conditions

When making a site selection keep your plant in an area that has bright sunlight.

If using drip irrigation keep the soil evenly moist.

Feed this heavy feeder every three weeks during the spring through mid summer with an acidic fertilizer.
