Each plant is grown from tissue culture to be a disease free exact replace of the mother plant. Jewel typically flowers about a week before Sharpblue and begins ripening about 10 days earlier than Sharpblue. Jewel produces a large number of flowers well in the spring. Berry quality is excellent. Mature plant height is 6′- 8′. You will need 2-3 different kinds for cross-pollination. We recommend using only Bio Spectrum organic Fertilizer located in our store.

How to grow Blueberry Plant Jewel

Soil requirements and planting instructions

Mix together the following:

• 90 percent Sphagnum peat moss
• 10% perlite

Place this mixture in a pots, beds or garden and plant your blueberry. Proper site preparation ensures years of growth and once established they will not require weed control. Soil Ph should be around 4.9-5.5.
