Plants are between 6″- 16″ tall “They grow fast!!”. Blueberry Plant Spring High boasts very low chill requirements which enable it to be grown and produce fruit virtually anywhere. Each plant is grown from tissue culture to be a disease free exact replica of the mother plant. ‘Spring high’ is a very vigorous, upright bush with excellent frame. Berries are very large and medium dark, with good scar and flavor and medium firmness. Sets fruit well even when pollination conditions are poor. You will need 2-3 different kinds for cross-pollination. We recommend using only Bio Spectrum organic Fertilizer located in our store.
‘Spring High’ PP 16404 – Chill hours: 200, Season: Early, Zones 8-10; 5′ to 6′ tall, vigorous, upright bush and sets fruit in poor pollination conditions.
How to grow Blueberry Plant Spring High
Soil requirements and planting instructions
Mix together the following:
- 90 percent Sphagnum peat moss
- 10% perlite
Place this mixture in a pots, beds or garden and plant your blueberry. Proper site preparation ensures years of growth and once established they will not require weed control. Soil Ph should be around 4.9-5.5.
Light conditions
When making a site selection keep your plant in an area that has bright sunlight.

If using drip irrigation keep the soil evenly moist.

Feed this heavy feeder every three weeks during the spring through mid summer with an acidic fertilizer.
